In February this year the FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik in Karlsruhe invited to an Open House during which also topics like Industry 4.0 and Mobility were discussed.

During the Open House discussion and transfer forums the Project RobustSENSE was presented by Dr. Thomas Schamm, Head of Department Intelligent Systems and Production Engineering at the FZI, as result of the ongoing efforts of Tech Center a-drive to foster research and development projects for the improvement of environment perception and action planning of automated vehicles.

State Secretary Peter Hofelich from the Ministry of Finance and Economics MFW Baden-Württemberg outlined the project "Tech Center a-drive“ and its role in digitalization of mobility for the state of Baden-Württemberg and used the opportunity for the symbolic hand-over of the ministries financial grant to the Tech Center a-drive.

Additionally representatives of Robert Bosch GmbH and Daimler AG presented visionary concepts for future traffic scenarios from the view point of an OEM and a supplier.
